Christmas is Coming

Christmas is in 11 DAYS! Can you believe it? I can't wait! I love Christmas so much! Christmas trully is my favorite time of the year! I love the music, the baking, the movies, the attitude of giving that although is not present in everyone, is in most! I love thinking of good gifts to give to my family. I love the decorations! I could probably go on and on..... :) But I won't.

I thought I would try something. I'm going to share one of my favorite Christmas traditions, and then I'd love to hear all of your favorite traditions. How many of my blog visitors love Christmas as much as I do? Why? Or if you don't care for Christmas so much, why?

Okay, so me first: Two of my favorite Christmas traditions.....
1 ~ My Mom's Cinnamon Rolls (which I will unfortunately not get this year :( )
2 ~ Getting up in the morning, opening stockings, and presents, and just spending the day hanging out with family!
Okay, so maybe I'll do a third one ~ Singing Christmas carols/songs with my sisters!

Now it's your turn! Leave a comment and tell me what your favorite Christmas traditions are. Or just what your favorite thing about Christmas is.... :)

Oh! Must I pick just one?!! Christmas is truly just the most wonderful time of the year! Some of my favorite traditions are:
-rearranging and decorating our room
-opening the presents slowly...usually take around 3 hours, we go so slow! I love it!
-Listening to the rustle of the plastic sacks as Mommy and Daddy fill the stockings as I lay in bed :-)
-coming down the steps on Christmas morning, trying not to look into our stockings that are hanging by the stairway :-)

I also have memories of waking up early on Christmas morning, and trying to "quietly" wake up Mommy and Daddy so we could open presents! You know, wake them up "without meaning to!" : D

I love Christmas! Did I already say that?!

Love,

Jessica

Jessica, you reminded me of one of my other favorite traditions: waking up real early in the morning and looking at the presents under the Christmas tree, and then just sitting near the tree with the lights on, reflecting on Christmas and any other thoughts that came to my mind.

I love Christmas, And some of my favorite traditions are, getting up in the morning and peeking in our stockings as we come down the stairs:-P opening our presents, and just having a TON of fun:-)In the morning it's hard to wait to open the presents because we have to do our goats and do the dishes first!
Love,
Anna

At my age I have many wonderful memories and traditions that I value..baking Christmas cookies, sitting quietly and watching the Christmas lights on the tree, trying to fit everything in the kids' stockings cuz I always buy too many stocking stuffers, looking at each ornament as we put it on the tree, hearing the kiddos get up so early on Christmas morning and listening to them as they get into their stockings.. the ooohhhs and aaahhhhs and giggles! Christmas is wonderful and full of tradition... May you have a very merry one!
