God is Faithful

I have had quite the week. It's certainly not what I had planned for this week, but than, God's plans are not always our plans are they? I have had much time resting, although not always resting enough. I am very much like my Dad. I think I'm doing good, and there's so many things I could be doing, that I think "I'll just do this thing, and then I'll put my feet up again." The biggest thing I've discovered is that sitting on a chair cross-legged or with my knees up is not resting. Resting means that whether sitting on the couch, or reclining on my bed, my feet must be up.
I had plans for today, my Husband's booksigning in Farmington (at this really nice Borders), and then a graduation party for 2 of my friends. However, I can't do either. I need to rest with my feet up as much as possible. My Mom reminded me this morning that "it's okay, God must have His reasons for you not being able to do what you wanted to today." I knew she was right, and God was already starting to impress that on my heart, she just reinforced the Truth. (Aren't mothers so great? :) )
Since I was going to be by myself today, 2 of my sisters slept over last night and this morning they blessed me in making my Husband breakfast before he had to leave and preparing breakfast for myself as well. They then cleaned everything up and have started making supper for me (in between taking turns playing Chess :) ). They are so helpful, and I am very blessed to have them.
Through everything this week, God has been as faithful as ever in always being right by my side, giving me the strength I need.

I'm so happy!!!

Attention to all blog readers::::: I am now Mrs. Scott Appleton! The wedding was beautiful! And the Honeymoon was just wonderful! Lots of pictures coming, but for now I must go home and straighten our apartment before my husband comes home. :)

34 HOURS!!!!!

34 Hours till walking down the aisle. I'm so excited. I'm still not stressed out, Praise the Lord! :) Everything is coming together. Kelsie is here (pictures after the honeymoon, probably) and she has been a FABULOUS help as well as all of my family and friends. There is still much to do, but I'm confident. All that matters is that we're getting married and everyone enjoys themselves (including us) at the wedding. :) The rest is all in God's hands. He knows what does and doesn't need to happen/get done.

5 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!

There is so much to do, and so little time. :) I only have a second to post here, but I just HAD to update the countdown! :) Please keep us all in prayer as we work on everything this week and try not to get stressed out, and emotions are running high. Thank you! :)

5 days!!!! Wow! I can hardly wait! :) The apartment looks great except for the bedroom which at the moment is full of stuff that needs to be organized. :)

Only 9 Days Now! :)

Yesterday Scott and I were busy working on some wedding (ceremony) stuff. We decided later in the afternoon that we were going to go see the new Night At The Museum (great movie, by the way. Better than the first one.) with Brian and James. We had to go run a couple errands, so we decided to all meet at the apartment. Then when we realized what time it was and everything, we decided to make supper at the apartment too. I LOVE being in our apartment! I had so much fun making soup and biscuits, and asking Scott what he preferred for different things. And, we did manage to get all the dishes washed, dryed, and put away before we left for the movie. Scott really enjoyed sitting in the living room talking, while I was cooking. It was great! :)

Today we have another full day. We have to finish our ceremony details, get the oil in my car changed (it's been 6,200 miles since the last one, oops), have the emissions done on my car, hopefully take my dress to the Cleaner's (if we can find one that will do it), Scott has to go in to work for 1 hour for some safety class, so I'll be heading over to Target to get some stuff for the apartment, and then we have to meet with our Pastor to go over the wedding details. Oh, and we also need to move more stuff into the apartment and more stuff into the Storage Unit that we have. May all my readers have a wonderful, and blessed day!

Only 10 DAYS!!!

10 Days left, and SO much to do!!! :) Hopefully we'll get everything done. Hannah and I figured out the decorations for the church yesterday. It will be perfect. :)

My Mother-in-Love, made the practice cake this week and she's all ready for the big one next week. :) We finally figured out how the cake is going to be decorated. I had an idea of how I wanted it, but then we had to try and find those accessories. Praise the Lord! everything worked out. :)

I realized the other night that I have to pack up and move from my home in less than 2 weeks. Even though I knew all of this was coming, and I thought I was fully prepared for it, apparently I wasn't. All of a sudden, it just struck that I'm moving out. Wierd. :) I can't wait to move into the apartment, but all of a sudden the reality hit that I'm moving. I'm supposed to be moving, that's what should happen. It's just strange, I guess. I'm probably not making much sense to anyone, or maybe I am to those who have already experienced this, or maybe I'm the only one (which I doubt, at least I hope not). :)
